Terms & license
Plain-language terms · applies to every purchase
1. What you buy
A perpetual, single-company license to use the product (the Claude skill, the dashboard code it contains, the Excel template, and updates we choose to release). You may modify and customize it freely for use within your own company. No subscription, no expiry. Requires your own Claude account, which is not included and is governed by Anthropic's terms.
2. What's not allowed
Reselling, sublicensing, or commercializing the product or any modified version; sharing or distributing the .skill file, source code, or derivatives outside your company; using it to deliver reporting services to third parties as a commercial offering; removing or altering the license file or license ID. Each company needs its own license; groups and agencies should contact us for a multi-company arrangement. Sharing the reports it produces with your board, investors, advisors, and auditors is of course allowed. That's the whole point.
3. Delivery and refunds
The product is digital and delivered immediately after payment. Because access is instant, purchases are final and the statutory withdrawal right for digital content is waived at checkout, where you agree to immediate delivery. Business buyers have no statutory withdrawal right. That said, we stand behind the product: if it does not work as described in your Claude environment and we cannot resolve it, contact hello@slidesaway.com within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right, including a refund at our discretion. Refunds are not available where the product has been shared outside the licensed company.
4. Not financial, tax, or legal advice
The product is a reporting tool. It presents the numbers you provide (via Excel or connected systems) and applies standard SaaS-metric definitions. It does not audit, validate, or guarantee your data, and its output is decision support, not financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your data and for the decisions you and your board make on it. Always verify your numbers.
5. Warranty and liability
The product is provided "as is". Setup and generation times quoted in our marketing (for example "10 minutes") are typical figures and depend on the Claude model, plan, connectors, and the amount of customization you request; they are not a guarantee. We do not warrant that it is error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, nor that third-party platforms it depends on (Claude, browsers, connectors) will remain unchanged. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the product or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the license, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits, lost data, or business decisions based on the reports). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
6. Ownership and updates
The product and its source code remain our intellectual property; your own data, commentary, and modifications are yours. Each sold copy carries a license ID; we may use it to identify copies distributed in breach of these terms. Updates, when released, are provided at our discretion and under these same terms.
7. Term and termination
Your license continues indefinitely, but ends automatically if you materially breach section 2 and do not remedy the breach within 14 days of notice. Sections 4, 5, and 8 survive termination.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you. We'll always try to resolve issues directly first: hello@slidesaway.com.
Version 1.0 · effective on publication. These terms are written in plain language and have not been reviewed by a lawyer; we recommend having them reviewed once revenue justifies it. Replace the bracketed identity fields before publishing.
